The glo™ tobacco heater, also known as a tobacco heating product (THP), is an alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes. glo™ devices utilizes a smart technology where it controls the heat of specially designed tobacco sticks (also known as neo™ tobacco sticks). As you insert the tobacco stick inside the device, the temperature level is maintained at a level to produce tobacco aerosol and release nicotine without any form of combustion.
Induction technology is a way for glo™ to evenly heat the stick via a magnetic field (a source of energy transfer to a heating element). More specifically, an electronically heating blade makes sure that the walls surrounding the inserted stick is at a monitored temperature to ensure authentic taste of tobacco without the combustion process.
Like any electronic device, glo™ should be used in the right way and properly maintained. Every user should be aware of how it works and how to clean glo™ so that the heater functions with no trouble.
An important aspect that significantly affects the use of glo™ or other tobacco heating products is their batteries. As in the case of mobile phones, we must properly charge our glo™ devices as the life of the battery depends on it. Firstly, you should always use the original accessories provided by the manufacturer. Tobacco heaters do not need a huge amount of watts when charging, so you should avoid using network adapters from phones that may be too powerful for the battery in glo™ devices.
It is also important that you don’t let the device become completely discharged, because any such situation negatively affects the battery life. It advised to recharge the tobacco heater every now and then, instead of waiting for it to be completely out of charge. glo™ can be used when it is connected to electricity, but it is important to note that that can interrupt the duration of the session.
For tobacco heating products, the key to successful maintenance is cleaning them. Even though we are not dealing with ash that originally gets formed from cigarettes, it does not mean that there isn’t any sediment that gets accumulated inside the heating chamber. If we don’t get rid of it, then our experience and comfort of using the device degrades overtime.
It is essential to remember that the tobacco heater should not be cleaned immediately after use as it is simply too hot. You would want to wait and hold off cleaning your device for about five minutes after your session ends to avoid getting burned.
Once you have made sure that the glo™ device has cooled down, you can proceed by opening the special cleaning hole located at the bottom of the heater. It is best to start the cleaning from the top, where you would need to open the shutter door. Holding the glo™ upright, gently guide the brush into the heating chamber and make a few steady motions. With the heating device in the upright position, you can make sure that all the sediment will pour out through the open hole on the other side. You should then repeat the whole process, this time inserting the brush into the other hole.
After this procedure the heater should be cleaned and ready for further use. There is nothing stopping you from cleaning your device after every use, but the most optimal maintenance is every twenty sessions.
Just like any device, tobacco heating products have their own way of working and being maintained. If we remember to clean it regularly and charge it properly, then you will be able to use glo™ without any unnecessary problems. Always remember to use the accessories provided by the brand/manufacturer associated with your device. When maintaining a tobacco heater, remember that it is a relatively small and delicate device, so it is best to use it with optimal care.
