The glo™ tobacco heater is one of the innovative devices that is an alternative to traditional smoking. Due to the fact that tobacco heaters are electronic devices, electricity is necessary for their operation. The batteries installed in heaters must be charged regularly in order to maintain the life of the device for as long as possible.
glo™ is a small, portable electronic device that is an alternative to traditional cigarettes. Even though it uses real tobacco in the form of sticks (i.e. neo™ sticks), there is no combustion process. The neo™ stick is only heated at a sufficient temperature for the tobacco to release nicotine without burning it. As a result, the user does not inhale smoke but only tobacco aerosol, thus meaning that there are potentially less harmful substances. This does not mean that tobacco heaters are one hundred percent harmless to us. As they have been present on the market for a relatively shorter period of time, more research is needed to show the full effects they have on the body. It should also be remembered that tobacco heaters still contain nicotine, which is a highly addictive substance.
Charging glo™ is like charging a phone or other electronic devices, which should not be anything new to you and relatively straightforward. However, it is still important to emphasize proper maintenance (which can also be found in the provided instruction manual) of the device to guarantee its optimal operation.
The batteries that are present in the tobacco heater requires consistent charging, without the need to wait for it to be completely out of battery. This is because the devices have a lithium-ion battery, which is sensitive when left completely uncharged multiple times. Charging regularly is key to extend the battery life. In addition, it is advised to wait until the glo™ device has cooled down (around 5 minutes after the session is over) to charge it. Finally, powerful network adapters are not recommended, and it is also worth remembering to use the original accessories provided by glo™. If you can’t or don’t want to use the glo™ USB adapter, then you can always connect the USB-C charging cable on the USB port of your computer/laptop. You also need to be patient when charging your glo™ device and be mindful that it can take up to 3.5 hours.
